Six fundamental tennis strokes - essential skills to learn

1.Tennis forehand- the first time people learn tennis, they have to learn forehand first. It's the easiet one to play and very basic skill to learn it. Furthermore, majority of tennis players prefer to use forehand in a game or match.
2.Tennis backhand- The tennis backhand is like opposite side of the forehand side.
So if you are right-handed, your backhand is needed to be the left side of your body and if you are
left-handed, your backhand is should be the right side of your body.
First time when people practice backhand, they feel like it's so hard to play, but as time passed, it will be familiar and achieve one of the best skills.

3.Serve -The tennis serve can be reached any point. The tennis player that is serving is termed as a server and the other tennis player is termed as a receiver. Players achieve and maintain the most effective results by tossing the ball straight up high above the head while rotating the tennis racquet with a full motion swing aiming to strike the ball to the service area on the opposite end of the tennis court.
4.Lob- Uniquely termed in tennis, the lob is mainly used as a defensive technique to turn the momentum of a point into an offensive play.
5.Overhead- It is similar as a serve, the overhead tennis technique is designed to earn points by striking the tennis ball as it floats in the air over the head to the forehand or backhand side of a tennis athlete's body. Then other player could not able to react the overhead smashing because the ball's speed is so fast and hard to catch up.
6.Volley- The volley is a short punch technique with little or no back swing from a tennis athlete's forehand or backhand side. If you are the type of player who wants to going on the attack very fast, the volley is probably one of the favourite skill you are able to use.
